Hi,
just a quick note to introduce myself. My name is Colin, I am an engineer with B&D at our manufacturing plant in Usti in the Czech Republic. I have had what you might call a varied career, ranging from theatre work, croupier, through telecoms and into power tools. I have lived and worked in the US, Canada, UK and Czech.
I am currently leading a small group of my peers into leadership. This is not because I am a fantastic leader myself, but because I have been lead into it also. We started as a book club, reading Maxwells 21 Laws. The guy who started that left us, and, after a brief hiatus, I started the group up again. We have a core of 8 members, but the door is always open. Literally, when we meet, I make it a point to leave the door open.
The aim is to allow ourselves to develop ourselves as leaders, and to help others to do the same thing. We do this in a number of ways, which I won't get into here, as this is a welcome note. If you are interested, or have any other questions, then just ask.
Happy new year, Colin.
Thanks for your vote...
If you voted in the World Leadership Gurus Top 30, the Hub's founder, Phil Dourado, came 14th this year (2012), up three places from 17th last year. The organisers say it is "because of the originality and impact of your work" that Phil was put in the Top 30 in the first place. And that means this Hub and the award-winning corporate versions we run for large companies. For more on how a private corporate version of The Hub works, email: phildourado@theleadershiphub.com
