Monkeys With Typewriters

Monkeys With TypewritersHi Brom and Phil,

I found your group through a search for groups relating to "leadership 2.0". For the past 18 months I've been researching this theme for a book focusing on how social media can transform the way organisations are run (if only the "leaders" let it)!

The book was published by Triarchy Press last week and ...is called "Monkeys With Typewriters" because I wanted to give the idea that all (and none) of us are actually "in charge". Please see www.monkeyswithtypewriters.co.uk for further information.

It'd be great to know what you (or this group's members) think of the importance of social media in facilitating "leadership 2.0".

Cheers, Jemima

PS In case you don't get the reference, it's not an insult. It's that old saw that if you get an infinite number of monkeys writing on typewriters, eventually they will produce the complete works of Shakespeare. So, it's a "Wisdom of Crowds"-type thing.

World's Top 30 Leadership GurusThanks for your vote...
If you voted in the World Leadership Gurus Top 30, the Hub's founder, Phil Dourado, came 14th this year (2012), up three places from 17th last year. The organisers say it is "because of the originality and impact of your work" that Phil was put in the Top 30 in the first place. And that means this Hub and the award-winning corporate versions we run for large companies. For more on how a private corporate version of The Hub works, email: phildourado@theleadershiphub.com
