Randy Pausch's Last Lecture

Randy Pausch is a Computer Science professor at Carnegie Mellon University that is battling pancreatic cancer. The lecture is absolutely loaded with great advice. Here is just a sample of the wisdom...

“Most of what we learn, we learn indirectly.”

“Brick walls are there for reasons… to see how badly you want something… to stop other people.”

“Wait long enough and people will surprise and impress you.”

“Ignore everything they say and pay attention to what they do.”

“When you do the right things, good things have a way of happening.”

Click here to listen to the lecture in it’s entirety. It's long, but it's well worth it. Click here to read more on my latest blog entry about Randy's old football coach.

"To do great things is difficult; but to command great things is more difficult."

World's Top 30 Leadership GurusThanks for your vote...
If you voted in the World Leadership Gurus Top 30, the Hub's founder, Phil Dourado, came 14th this year (2012), up three places from 17th last year. The organisers say it is "because of the originality and impact of your work" that Phil was put in the Top 30 in the first place. And that means this Hub and the award-winning corporate versions we run for large companies. For more on how a private corporate version of The Hub works, email: phildourado@theleadershiphub.com
