The Secret Of Success
I just came across this in Hub member Peter Cook's book Sex, Leadership and Rock & Roll
"I have learned throughout my life as a composer
chiefly through my mistakes and pursuit of false assumptions,
not by my exposure to founts of wisdom and
knowledge." - Igor Stravinsky
Oh, yes. Reminds me of that old story about The Secret of Success:
THE SECRET OF SUCCESS
"Sir, What is the secret of your success?" a reporter asked a bank president.
"Two words."
"And, Sir, what are they?"
"Right decisions."
"And how do you make right decisions?"
"One word."
"And, Sir, what is that one word?"
"Experience."
"And how do you get Experience ?"
"Two words."
"And, Sir, what are the two words?"
"Wrong decisions."
