As a member of this group, you can also upload or add your own quote, clip, short true story or anything that may inspire other users. Please keep it to a max. of one or two minutes.
To link to a clip on You Tube (which is what we have done with the Michael Jordan clip on 'Failure', over on the right, for example) here's how to add your own post here:
1. Find the clip on You Tube (or wherever) that you want to link to. It needs to be a site that allows you to copy and embed the code for the clip. A number of sites allow this. You Tube is the most popular. The 'embed' code is to the right of the clip in You Tube.
2. Copy the 'embed' code that allows you to embed a clip in The Hub
3. Click on 'Contribute to Group' over on the right of this page
4. Write
a) The Headline
b) A few words into the 'body' area to describe the learning point you want other people to get from the clip
5. Click on the HTML link that you will find in the second line of the formatting, below your post (this is the area that starts B I U etc. to allow you to bold, italicise, underline. Go to the line underneath that and click on HTML)
6. This will open a new panel. Paste the embed code where you want the clip to appear (eg underneath the words you have written describing the learning point). Click on 'Update' at bottom left of the HTML panel to put your clip into your post.
7. Click on 'Preview' to check it has worked.
8. If you are happy with it, click on 'Submit'. CAREFUL HERE: I SOMETIMES FORGET THE 'SUBMIT' PART AND LOSE THE WORK.
9. If something isn't working, or the above isn't clear, holler for help by emailing me (Phil Dourado) on Phil@60SecondLeader.com or The Architect (Brom) on Brom@60SecondLeader.com
10. IF YOU JUST WANT TO POST SOME INSPIRING WORDS INSTEAD OF A CLIP...Then do the above, but miss out the bit about posting the clip :-)
