Lean Thinking

Well folks on Friday, my last day in the office for 2007, I sent the two levels of management above me and one manager above and to the left, a flash demo of the reporting that we have created. The objective is to gain executive sponsorship to bring our project into the mainstream and become the reporting scorecard the division uses.

Things have been stalled a bit at the moment. We have been going through end of year performance and pay reviews as well as development plans. Well that is my excuse anyway. Regardless the quicksand of day to day work life has really slowed us down at the moment. 

We are still trying to get access to the data both from an "access authority" and physical sense point of view. Our PCs won't let us load up the tools we need because we don't have admin access in our "standard operating environment".
