- My background
My personal background encompasses a large global perspective. Â I grew up in Oregon, Attended College in Minnesota, Worked in Washington DC and Osaka, Japan, before returning to Oregon.
Professionally, I spent 10 years in Customer Service management in a medium size contract Manufacturing firm.  This eventually topped out in a role as Vice-President of Customer development.  As manufacturing moved overseas, our organization was forced to reorganize.  Eventually I found myself landing in the area of leadership development.  I arrived at this spot through a lot of introspection etc, and the realization that companies in general have a need of better leadership.  I am certified in the use of several leadership assessments (CCL 360'S, Hogan Assessments, CPI 260, etc) and used these to work with corporations as a consultant developing leadership training systems, or working one-on-one with their next generation leaders.
I have now taken the next step in my evolution, becoming a leadership coach. Â My focus is entirely on individual leaders, at whatever stage they find themselves in leadership, helping them discover how they can become the best leader possible as well as helping them find satisfaction and happiness in their life.Â

Five years from now, I would like to be working consistently with a group of leaders, collaborating on what can be done to lead inspirationally, to help others grow, and to make the world a better place.

I have extensive experience with Customer Service and Sales, primarily relationship-based sales. Â I also have experience with several powerful assessment tools which bring understanding to how an individual or group are hard-wired, and how that impacts their behaviour. Â Finally, I am a strong listener, and can help those I work with gain deeper understanding into how they should approach situations they are confronted with.
