- Areas I want to develop
a full understanding of "leadership". Â I have worked well in the past as a "guide" and as a "manager". Â The former aides the student along his path, the latter directs action. Â I see a leader as somebody who inspires others and produces the desired outcomes because those that are lead want to be empowered to achieve the desired effect. Â That makes a leader part guide and part manager, as well as something more. Â I want to develop that "something more".Â
