My Leadership Log/Diary

How things change

It is interesting to read comments directed at senior management when going through periods of mass change.

People feel increasingly threatened, as is natural when you believe your job is on the line, but what is clear is that the people who survive are the ones who have a positive attitude to change an can find the benefits to themselves, their staff and the organisation as a whole.

Fish!: A Remarkable Way to Boost Morale and Improve Results

This book, whilst not specifically about leadership or management  as such, in my opinion is a truly inspiring publication which has simple yet effective messages.  It has certainly had as much influence on me as any other text on leadership and management.

"Catch the energy and release the potential " is the motto, and it describes 4 simple principles which can make a difference in any organisation.
