My Guestbook

Hello Architect, a sincere thanks for building this site. I feel like I am just putting my toe into the water of something I was hoping to find for a long time now. I look forward to hearing from and growing with Hub members around the world. richforsandy

Hi Maestro,

What's next? Unfortunately, a very open ended q...

Christopher Wren was a genius who knew that the English would not be satisfied with just designs borrowed from the French. The best is always around the corner. That's inspiration. That's probably why, the star of the Crown Jewels is a gem from India.

Thank you for welcoming me to the leadership hub. I have not looked around yet but so far, I like what I see here. My purpose for joining is to find a few mentors that can help guide my leadership development. Now, I will check out the rest of the site and see if I have come to the right place.

why in this world speaking about leadership ? do we still need rule book to Succeed in life ?

Comment by The_Architect
You need to know the rules to break them. Great leaders at all levels are great rule breakers.

Thank you for your welcome note!

Can you please ask me a question on globalization and global warming?

Comment by The_Architect
Er, OK. How does globalization and global warming change how we should lead our organizations?

Need help with The Hub? Private message me

Hello - I'm the Architect. I helped design and build The Hub. It is in need of constant improvement, of course, particularly to make it easier to use. If anything in The Hub is leaving you confused or scratching your head, it's the fault of The Hub, not you. So, do please private message me here and I will be happy to help. As The Hub's numbers grow, I'll need help myself, as this is a co-created community in which we shape The Hub together.

Monday funny: Tough interview (cartoon)

Re the recent post in The Hub quoting Daniel Goleman on how CEOs mostly get sacked because of lack of EQ/Emotional Intelligence, not lack of IQ...

Daniel Goleman on why CEOs fail

“When Claudio Fernando-Araoz, head of research for the executive recruitment firm Egon Zehnder International, looked at CEOs who had succeeded and those who had failed, he found the same pattern in America, Germany and Japan: those who failed were hired on the basis of their drive, IQ, and business expertise – but fired for lack of emotional intelligence. They simply could not win over, or sometimes even just get along with, their board of directors, or their direct reports, or others on whom their own success depended.”

Who are the fresh new voices in leadership?

I've been part of an Amazon discussion group on 'Who Are The Fresh Voices in Leadership Theory' and it's recently become quite active and interesting. So, click on the link if you want to read what they are saying.
