There's a growing industry about how to lead 'Generation Y' - They're into immediate gratification, don't focus, won't be led (good for them on that one), etc. etc. A lot of the consultants driving this growth in 'how do you lead these strange people?' talk and write nonsense. This video is a nice corrective, I feel.
Leaders are people who can discern the inevitable and act accordingly. When people talk about business acumen, discernment is a big part of it. It's a bit like gut instinct, but a little more developed.
